Faith of the Fallen

Faith in God and the pursuit of attaining a higher consciousness are undoubtedly virtuous endeavors. Yet, could faith be used as a tool for deception and enslavement?
Mainstream Christians of today (for the most part) are castrated versions of their founders. Quick to judge and measured in apology, Christ-like is hardly an honest description of faith.
The idea that Christ, or anyone for that matter, is scheduled to save us from the evil in the world appears flawed. If we could only get a hold of God’s day planner, finally we could understand our place in events, sit back and wait for his glorious revealing.
Luke 12: 34-35 “For your heart will always be where your riches are. “Be ready for whatever comes, dressed for action and with your lamps lit…”
Tyrants and rulers have used religion, throughout the ages, as a means to influence thought and assert control. From the Crusades to the Spanish Inquisition, Christians have been used as a tool to enslave and establish tyranny in “hedonistic” civilizations. All the while followers believed that torturing women and children was justified, as they were doing the work of God.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
The problem does not stem from faith in a higher power. The confusion originates from the interpretation of God’s recommendations for a prosperous life. The belief that individual discernment of religious ideology is somehow wrong tends to turn groups of well meaning people into bloodthirsty mobs.
Romans 13 is stated to be Hitler’s favorite Bible entry. To paraphrase: governments are of the Lord and therefore must be obeyed. Leading lambs to the slaughter, the Clergy Response Team hopes to mediate the grievances of their flock to facilitate the government’s attempt to lockdown society in the event of an emergency.
Luke 22:36 He said unto them, “But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise a wallet; and he that hath none, let him sell his cloak, and buy a sword.”
Any action taken by the government or religious body to disarm the people, and demonize dissenters is obviously not for the betterment of humanity. History has shown the only difference between slave and free is the ability to defend one’s self. Surely, the time will come when preachers will stand at their pulpits and claim that due to Romans 13 all members of the church should be chipped, because it is what the government wants, and is therefore of the Lord.
Revelations 13: 16-18 “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”
Waking to the New World Order control grid weighs heavy on the heart and mind. To throw off one shackle and replace it for another of different color is not freedom, and must be guarded against. The prophetic statements of the Bible are quickly coming to pass. Christians of all denominations must stand firm, united against tyranny whether it bears the shield of police, or the cross of the clergy.

If we want to restore real Christianity, we have to undo pretty much every corrupt action undertaken by the church since 325 AD{even before then you had power hungry evildoers like Irinaeus.}.
Otherwise, we’ll have to chuck it out the window completely
