It’s Gettin’ Hot in Here

Narrowly approved by the House, HR 2454 is well on its way to regulating every aspect of our lives. This cap and trade proposal is simply the limitation and taxation of energy consumption and distribution.
The majority of Americans, even those aware of the bill (myself included); remain clueless as to the depths of government intrusion HR 2454 introduces. Not only must we learn to consume less energy, now we must learn to pay and/or trade for the rights to that energy.
This bill casts a dark shadow on the carbon cycle, a complex yet necessary piece of Earth’s ecosystem. Labeling human produced carbon emissions as a destructive pollutant in need of regulation, makes about as much sense as monitoring the rear-right lug nut on a car for engine problems.
Where scientists admit that CO2 is a mild greenhouse gas (about .054% of the total atmosphere), and most tend to agree that the ocean is the greatest contributor, it’s strange to see that an unsavory minority of hacks, led by Al Gore, have actually penetrated the collective opinion of legislators. The concept that human activity is negatively affecting global temperature is beyond preposterous.
Human activity amounts to peanuts compared to the vast expanse of water covering the globe and the CO2 released. Carbon dioxide is an essential ingredient of life. It never has, nor will it ever guide temperature on the planet. Actually, CO2 is the product of warming, not the other way around.
It’s very simple; the rise in global temperature is directly related to solar activity and cloud formation. Due to the depths and size of the oceans, it can take up to 1,000 years or more to heat or cool. Thus, we can say that the waters of the globe retain a memory. Over the course of about 800 years, as the ice records indicate, CO2 lags behind temperature.
In layman’s terms, the hotter the oceans get the more CO2 is recombined and released. The cooler the oceans get the more CO2 is retained and dissolved. Heating and/or cooling Earth’s oceans takes hundreds to thousands of years. This warming is not caused by your car, energy consumption, or industrialization. As weird as it might sound, the truth is that the sun heats and cools the oceans. You know that massive nuclear furnace at the center of our solar system.
Referring to “climate change” as an unnatural phenomenon with apocalyptic consequences, should stand alone as proof that our government believes us to be imbeciles, unaware of reality. Going as far as to tax, limit, and regulate the amount of carbon dioxide emitted by individuals and/or businesses is an insulting, treasonous act.
I suggest that you start your research into the global warming hoax with a video entitled: The Great Global Warming Swindle.
